Barbara Weathers

Barbara Weathers is an American R&B singer born in Greensboro, North Carolina December 7, 1963. She is best known as a member of the R&B group Atlantic Starr filling in for Sharon Bryant, who departed the group in the mid-80’s. She appears on the groups albums “As the Band Turns” in 1985 and “All in the Name of Love” in 1987. Her hit singles with the group included “Secret Lovers” and “Always”. She then left the group to pursue a solo career and released her self-titled debut in 1990.
