Batushka (Russian: Батюшка) is a Polish music project of Krzysztof “Христофор” Drabikowski. It was created in 2015 playing music from the black metal genre. The lyrical theme of the songs refers to the Orthodox religion. However, despite the band’s use of Orthodox lyrics and imagery, the act is not a Christian metal act.
