BBass

Actor, multi-instrumentalist, and producer BBass hails from White Plains, NY. After using his West African percussion, jazz drumming, and choir backgrounds to hone his beat making skills, he entered several beat competitions, only to realize his true passion was in being an artist.

An eclectic mix of r n b, hip-hop, world music, and jazz (in no particular order) helped B craft his signature sound.

He put his first project together solely using beats that were rejected at the competitions, resulting in Heartstrings Swing n Better Things (2011). From here, he put together one more project (After The Masquerade, 2011) before releasing the double feature, Gemini Tendencies I & II (2014).

Following a regional tour, a long trip overseas, and several big commercials shoots, BBass connected with artist Napoleon Da Legend and blocked out two weeks to create THP – EP from start to finish.

BBass is currently working on several projects, including his 90s inspired mixtape, and continues to collaborate with artists, producers, and songwriters across all genres.
