William Kenny Jr. (June 12, 1914 – March 23, 1978), known professionally as Bill Kenny, was a pioneering African American tenor vocalist. He is most known for being the lead tenor of [the Ink Spots] (https://genius.com/artists/The-ink-spots), but he also led a successful solo career after the group disbanded in 1954.
