About Carter Ace

O'Neil Carter (b. July 16, 1998), better known as Carter Ace, is a Cameroonian-American rapper based in L.A., California. His music combines witty raps with jazz, soul, funk, and R&B instrumentals.

Raised by artists and surrounded by African music, Carter naturally pursued music as he began listening to hip-hop in high-school, being inspired by the likes of Kanye West and OutKast. In 2013, Carter signed with MTV, featured as an “Artists to Watch.”

Carter’s biggest song, “I Think I’m Normal,” lead to him being signed to Let’s Get It Records. Frequent production collaborators include Fahem Erfan, Dan Durant, Jon Redwood, Gio Alford, and Warmbedrooms.
