Chris Rich is a young up-and-coming producer based from Cardiff, Wales and is quickly becoming one of the most notable Drill producers in the UK. Widely known through his popular producer tag:

Starting by capitalising off of “type-beats” productions on YouTube during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020, he started to gain an attraction through works inspired by the late-great Brooklyn artist Pop Smoke. In his August 2021 interview with BBC, he said:
A bulk of my sales came in lockdown. ‘Cause I was in school. So I started working […] Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day – I was working! Just 'cause it was the only time I had off school. When lockdown happened, I was just making beats everyday. Yeah, lockdown helped.
At 20, he has already worked with some notable UK rappers, such as DigDat, Aitch, Abra Cadabra, Unknown T, and Central Cee whilst also forming a formidable team with close collaborator, East Midlands producer Young Chencs – both of which closely work together with the latter artist. He has also worked internationally with French rappers such as 1PLIKÉ140 as well as Nigerian artist Idpizzle and Ghanian artist Yaw TOG on the Stormzy assisted “SORE (Remix)”
