About Deen Castronovo

Deen J. Castronovo (born August 17, 1964) is an accomplished American drummer and singer, best known for being member of hard rock and metal acts Bad English, Journey, Revolution Saints and The Dead Daisies. He also has been a touring and studio member for Ozzy Osbourne, Steve Vai, Paul Rodgers, Geezer Butler (Black Sabbath bassist) and others.

Castronovo is the former drummer for the band Journey and is the current drummer for Revolution Saints and The Dead Daisies. He performed on Journey albums such as Arrival (2001), Red 13 (2002), Generations (2005) (in which he also provided lead vocals on two songs), Revelation (2008), and Eclipse (2011), as well as providing lead vocals when performing live Journey hits such as “Mother, Father”, “Still They Ride”, and “Keep on Runnin'”, and occasionally “Faithfully”.

He also played on the song “Smoke of the Revolution” on the Neal Schon solo album Late Nite (1989).
