About Don't Stop or We'll Die

Originally comprised of three improv comedy performers/comedy writers: Paul Rust from Love (2016) and Inglourious Basterds on bass, Michael Cassady from College Humor and Freak Dance on keyboards, and Harris Wittels of Parks & Recreation and the coiner of the term “humblebrag” on drums. Rust and Cassady alternate on lead/backing vocals, while Harris occasionally supplied vocals.

All three comedians were featured on the TV series Comedy Bang Bang, and they performed for many episodes on the Comedy Bang Bang podcast, on certain episodes playing multiple songs and interviewed as main guests.

After the sudden and tragic death of Harris Wittels in 2015, the band played less frequently, but recorded a set with a different drummer for Highland Park TV in 2017 featuring old and new songs. Their music video for “Lisa” on the JASH youtube channel features links to Harris' other works in tribute.

Rust and Cassady have continued recording and touring as the band, now a four piece when playing live. They released a new album, Dazzle Me, in 2018 and an EP Diamond Skies Over Western Dreams in 2019. Currently, the have created a podcast called “Song-A-Week” where they produce a song every 168 hours.
