Double S

Bashir Bazanye, more commonly known by many as Double S, is an English grime MC with Ugandan hailing from Tottenham in London and is a part of the Marvell crew along with MCs Shocka and Vertex. He is known for his skippy flow and has collaborated with the likes of Wiley and The HeavyTrackerz.

As a teenager, Double S frequently visited pirate radio stations including the now-defunct Axe FM and the popular station Heat Radio. He became more well known in the underground scene through sets with his Marvell crew and the Shoddy Crew, which split up later.

In 2007, he released his first mixtape Busy Wid Da Barz Vol 1, which featured his own crew, Shadie and Remson. A year later, he dropped Money’s Da Motive, with popular artists like Wretch 32 and Chip appearing on songs.

2017 saw him lift the lid on his debut album Double Vision, starring heavyweights like Jme and Wiley.
