Frills

Simon Oscroft (ex Midnight Youth/MOTHXR) and Dan Gibson (ex Streets of Laredo), both originally from New Zealand, now located in Brooklyn, joined together to form Frills in 2016. Reminiscent of bands such as MGMT and The Flaming Lips, the duo takes the fundamentals of indie pop and turns them on their head, using psychedelic reflections and ethereal haze in a way that remains original but stays loyal to the genre.
