Gon

Gon is a New York-based musician. He grew up in Israel and until recently was fully committed to his career as an opera singer. Somewhere throughout his Bachelor’s degree at Mannes College of Music, Gon decided to start a band and quickly realized he’d rather be creating and performing his own music.

After performing with his band for a few months, Gon felt that something was missing and decided to add strings, horns, and operatic backup vocals to his songs. He gathered a group of 10 musicians, drove to upstate New York, and recorded his debut album Diagonal Fields, which will be released on October 23, 2019.
