handsovereyes is a rapper and producer from Leeds, UK. They have always had a passion for creativity and portraying strong emotions and stories in both their production and their lyrical capabilities. Their musical interest had started from a young age, where, at the age of 11, he started to learn how to produce in FL Studio 11. His first footings were in the genre of EDM, where he released music under the alias “DjXenkoru”, later changed to “XEN.” However, as his sound matured, he would soon switch from this name to a new alias called “FRAME”, which is still having songs released under today.

Their interest in hip hop wouldn’t come until 2015 however, where, after years of listening to many hip hop artists, he decided to give it a shot himself. They first started releasing music under “3LSE” as a hip hop alias and most of his played songs came from remixes of EDM songs. They would later release a debut album under this name, but would soon retire this alias. handsovereyes was conceptualized in 2018 and has so far received praise for his mixture of high quality production and great use of lyrical tension and flow. The first album under handsovereyes was self-titled and had dark undertones, with songs like “radio_silence.wav” which showcased how effortlessly his voice and EDM-style production can blend to create heavy atmospheres, and “pipe_dream.wav” which vented feelings of unnoticed attention in an angry but relaxed banger.
