Hula & K. Fingers is a successful production duo consisting of Lamar “Hula” Mahone and Craig “Kay Fingers” Simpkins. The duo notched hits in their early career with the underground house classic “Nu Nu” by Lidell Townsend, as well as the Grammy-winning hip-hop crossover hit “Summertime” by DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince. Even after their biggest successes together, Simpkins would continue producing and remixing for artists like Chantay Savage, Destiny’s Child, Backstreet Boys, and more.
