About Isac Elliot

Isac Elliot Lundén, born December 26, 2000, professionally known as Isac Elliot, is a Finland-Swedish singer and songwriter.

Isac signed his first major record deal with Sony—the only label that let him record in English, at the age of 11. His debut song “New Way Home” and his debut album Wake Up World, released in 2013, were both successful in Scandinavia. The follow-up album Follow Me was released in 2014 charting in Finland and Norway. In 2013 and 2014 the singer was the recipient of MTV’s Best Finnish Act.

In 2015 Isac began a process of breaking into the USA market, with a feature from the rapper Tyga on “Lipstick,” and his song “Baby I” and “No One Else” being played respectively, on Radio Disney and SiriusXM. The following year, he released “What About Me,”, which he performed live on NBC’s The Today Show. He was the first Finn to appear on that show.

In the summer of 2016, the artist released A Little More – EP and “Beast”, a collaboration with a dance music producer duo Tungevaag & Raaban, which charted in Finland, Norway, and Sweden.

In 2017 Isac released an EP with the Finnish rapper Mikael Gabriel titled simply Mikael Gabriel x Isac Elliot. Later that year, they released another song together—“Maailman Laidalla.” These four songs were the first ones where the artist sang in Finnish. On his 17th birthday, Isac released his third album FAITH.

In 2019, the artist signed a record deal with Polydor, a part of Universal Music Group.

Running an international career turned out to be difficult when the pandemic hit. The artist said that it wasn’t something he could do from his home in Kauniainen. Instead, he started making music with his Finnish friends. The contract with the English management company has been terminated, but the work with the German record company will continue if and when Isac decides to release music in English again, also saying the change in languages is not necessarily permanent.

After completing military service, Isac released “20min” with Finnish rappers Cledos and william under Universal Music Finland’s subsidiary – Def Jam Recordings Finland. His return to the domestic music scene was a success as the song broke the record for the most streamed song of the decade on the day of its release and was certified gold in less than two weeks after its release.

In June 2023, Isac released his first Finnish album, Kävi Miten Kävi.
