Jason “Jay” James is a Welsh bassist. He is best known for being the former bassist and backing vocalist for the metal band Bullet For My Valentine.
James joined Jeff Killed John in 2003 after former bassist Nick Crandle’s departure. Shortly after, the band changed their name to Bullet For My Valentine in addition to their image and musical style.
In 2015, James was dismissed from the band for unknown reasons and replaced by Jamie Mathias.
