Jay Prezi was born and raised in the Harlem, New York. In July 2018, Jay Prezi released his debut album, John John: MCLXXV, in which he achieved incredible success as an independent artist. On the project, Prezi takes you to his block of 117th and 5th, where he is affectionally called “John John”, and lets his fans feel the real Harlem experience. His first single, New York Sh!t feat. Harlem Beanz and G MiMs, was in rotation at Hot 97 and Sirius XM’s Shade45 for four consecutive months, in addition to having received positive feedback from Vibe Magazine and The RapFest.

After a string of highly successful events, such as appearing in Nike’s Just Do It campaign and opening for Dave East at various tour dates, Jay Prezi released his follow up EP, Blood.Sweat.Tears. On the EP, Prezi demonstrates qualities of success by truly putting his blood, sweat, and tears into the project. The entire body of work was mixed, mastered, and recorded by the artist.
