Justin Brown

Justin Brown is one of the most highly regarded drummers in music. He learned drums by playing in rock bands, attending hip-hop and R&B jam sessions and practicing non-stop daily. He got accepted into Juilliard and left within one day after seeing their curriculum as largely redundant to what he had already knew.

As of 2018, he is drum chair for Ambrose Akinmusire and has performed with Esperanza Spalding, Flying Lotus, and Thundercat among others.

Nyeusi (2018) was his debut album as a bandleader.
