Growing up in a family full of success from academics and athletics put a heavy load on King.Kjs Shoulders or better known as KJ. He had a tough life from a life with seperated parents at a young age and going back and forth which one day that changed when his father was hit with abuse charges on his sister. After this is fathers true colors showed his father came in and out his life and he had to grow up with no influence or no one to look up to. When Kj quit playing football and started struggling in school his dad completely stepped out the picture. Kj had a stepfather which was around for most of his life until 7th grade then his sister came out and said horrible things his step father would do to her and make her do. This broke KJ even more. he let someone in his life and in his heart and he left him crushed. this left Kjs mother financially unstable and struggled and everything felt like it was coming down. Kj was giving up on school on sports because of a shoulder injury that his mother couldn’t fix because she couldn’t afford the surgery. Kj felt like his life was in a hole. But Kj had on thing he had music. Music has always been around and a big part of his life from listening to it to eventually recording his own. Music Kj says saved him it gave him something to make him happy something to look forward to and over the years something that he became very good at. Kj has always been a happy uplifting guy with a bright attitude for everything no matter the situation.
Spreading love and happiness has became a goal of mine within the past few years because i’ve realized its not fun or a good way to live when you don’t surround yourself with happiness. So within my music while doing what i love i also send a message of happiness, also i’ve learned that you can rap and create music about anything it doesn’t have to be like these mainstream artist. I couldn’t create and grow as a person and artist if it wasn’t for my friends and family. That being said i am thankful for everything life has offered me and that i can do what i love which is create music
