王力宏 (Leehom Wang)

Leehom Wang, also known as Wang Leehom, is a popular Taiwanese American singer-songwriter, actor, producer, and film director. He is known to fuse traditional Chinese musical elements (Chinese opera and Chinese classical opera) with hip hop and R&B. He debuted in 1995 and sold 25 albums since with sales of over 50 million copies. He is the four-time winner of the Golden Melody Awards (金曲獎) and has had 19 nominations. He is one of the most followed celebrities in China.

He has also won Best Actor at the 2018 Golden Lotus Awards in Macau and has been dubbed as King of Chinese Pop by CNN. Leehom had been listed in Goldsea’s “The 100 Most Inspiring Asian Americans of All Time”. (Source: Wikipedia.com)
