Mac McNeilly is best known as the first drummer for The Jesus Lizard (which had previously used a drum machine), appearing on their first full album, 1990’s Head. He remained with the band until 1996, when Jim Kimball replaced him, but appeared with them on their 2009 reunion tour.
Other bands McNeilly has worked with include Reelfoot, 86, Mouse, Come, and Phantom 309.
