Marcel Cartier

Marcel Cartier is an independent hip-hop artist, communist and journalist from the USA.

Born into a military family he rejected American imperialism and adopted Marxism-Leninist politics as an adult. Cartier worked for Russia Today (RT) for over a year and reported on the front line of the Ukrainian war in 2014.

He has also traveled to Cuba and North Korea to conduct journalistic work. Marcel Cartier is currently a member of a political party called the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL) and is alternating between living in the USA and England.

Marcel Cartier’s music focuses heavily on history and politics relating to communism, anti-imperialism, and anti-colonialism. His music has been Produced by Agent of Change and he has worked with artists such as Akala, Nana D, DJ Vlad, G.O.D. of Pitch Black, and Kayohes.
