Matthew Brue is the singer and songwriter of the indie-pop band Missio from Austin, TX, along with David Butler as the instrumentalist and producer. The project of Missio began in 2010 as an outlet for Matthew to work on his solo career, but after collaborating on a couple of songs he asked David to join the band. With their hit single of “Middle Fingers” that came out in 2017 shortly before their release of ‘Loner’, they have become more popular on the indie and alternative rock scene with the help and support of artists like K.Flay and SAFIA.
