ミドリ (Midori)

ミドリ (Midori) is a Japanese noise-rock band.
Formed in 2003 and originally from Osaka where the independent music scene has always been characterized by examples of experimental avant-garde such as Boredoms, King Brothers or あふりらんぽ (Afrirampo). So it seems no coincidence that ミドリ are the next generation with a distinctive sound that includes, in addition to their hardcore base on bass, an experienced percussionist on wadaiko drums, a keyboardist reminiscent of veteran jazz-band, and the dramatic performance starring their vocalist. dressed in a sailor-fuku.
