Mike is a something of songwriter-producer Cinderella, having been thrust into the industry after he co-wrote a song with his friends in the band A Great Big World for fun. That song —“Say Something”—wound up being recorded with Christina Aguilera and winning a Grammy for Best Pop Song by a Duo or Group in 2015.
More recently, Mike wrote on and produced Daya’s “Sit Still, Look Pretty,” which has just been certified Gold, has more than 90 million streams on Spotify, and has charted on Billboard’s Hot 100, Mainstream Top 40, Pop Digital Songs and Adult top 40 charts.
