Montreal-born and New York-based music artist Mimo reps Harlem and the 514 on the daily. Trained as a musician, actor and dancer, her work revolves around the tremendous powers of the body. When it comes to music, Lo-Fi vibes, flowing poetry, Neo-Soul—with an alternative R&B feel may be the closest terms to define her sound. Mimo’s style is essentially a blend of heartfelt music, reflecting her essence: something she casually calls “Street Jazz.”
In 2020, Mimo, born Miryam Magri, self-released her debut album called Street Candid. Additionally, she has released the EP Shellshock and a plethora of singles including “Feel Something” and “88.” In fall of 2021, Mimo signed a non-exclusive multi-project deal with Automatic Records, and began work on a new EP.
