Molly Hatchet

Molly Hatchet was formed in Jacksonville, Florida. Perhaps best known for their song “Flirtin' With Disaster”, Molly Hatchet created a harder rock sound among the other southern rock bands, who were influenced more by the blues and country genres. This harder rock sound was also demonstrated by the bands name, Molly Hatchet, who was allegedly a prostitute that tortured her clients, and the cover art for their albums, which featured heroic fantasy artwork.
