Based out of Oslo, Norway, Mutual Intentions is an independent record label primarily focused on Norwegian music acts. After seeing success releasing a multi-artist mixtape in 2015, the label officially formed in 2017 but had been working collaboratively as far back as 2008. The earliest label members include Ivan Ave, Yogisoul, and Fredfades, who, at the time of formation lived near the same part of Oslo.
Since its creation, the label has mostly focused on hip-hop music but has expanded into other genres like electronic groups han gaiden, Bendik HK, and Byron The Aquarius. The label has also reissued rare media such as ‘70s disco band Cake’s single Make Up Your Mind / Let Your Body Go.
