About Offa Rex
Offa Rex is a collaborative side project between American indie folk-rock band The Decemberists and English folk singer-songwriter Olivia Chaney. After opening for The Decemberists for a tour, frontman Colin Meloy asked her to help the band create an album of traditional English folk songs in the style of bands like Fairport Convention or Steeleye Span.
