Oscar Chavez is a Mexican actor, theater director and singer. His music is characterized by his attempt to preserve Mexican folklore, culture and tradition; in addition to including political content and showing non-conformism. He studied theater at Mexico’s national university (UNAM) and he is one of the most representative Mexican singers of Nueva Trova. His discography includes more than 60 different albums.
