Patric Catani

Patric Catani is a German electronic composer and producer. He produces original songs and remixes from other German songs, but is most noted for his video game soundtracks. He mainly uploads his songs and soundtracks through his Bandcamp profile.

Catani often collaborates with the video game company, The Behemoth, to produce songs for their video games, such as Pit People, BattleBlock Theater, and Alien Hominid. He has a distinct style in Pit People’s soundtrack, with a very high ratio of vocal noises (tuned or not) to actual instruments for some songs.

Catani debuted his music career in 2008 when he collaborated with Xberg Dhirty6 Cru on his music project, Die Wichtigkeit, as a writer. It wasn’t until 2013-2014 that he started working and publishing video game soundtracks. In 2013, he worked on BattleBlock Theater, and his 2014 compilation album, Video Game Music, included songs from that game and Blox in Space.
