Pram

About Pram

Experimental indie/electronic band formed in Birmingham, England in 1988 by Rosie Cuckston, Sam Owen, Matt Eaton, and Andy Weir. With much of their music featuring toys as instruments, homemade theremins, unusual samples and sequencing, and Rosie Cuckston’s childlike soprano voice, it’s hard to find another band that sounds quite like Pram.

Since 1993, Pram have released eight albums on Too Pure and Domino records. In 2008, they ceased activity after vocalist and lyricist Rosie Cuckston left the band. They regrouped and recorded sporadically over the next decade, until the release of Across the Meridian in 2018.
