Qveen Herby is the solo project from Karmin frontwoman Amy Noonan. The husband/wife duo took a break from Karmin in late 2016 after the release of the band’s second album Leo Rising, in order to work on Amy’s alter ego artist Qveen music. They announced the new phase on Soundcloud in May, 2017:

“Acapella”) launches into her highly-anticipated solo career with r&b/hip hop cuts, courtesy of producers Unkle Steve (Nicki Minaj, T.I., Kodak Black) and former band member Nick Noonan.”

Qveen Herby’s first release, EP 1, was released on June 2, 2017 preceeded by lead single “Busta Rhymes”. It was shortly followed by EP 2 featuring “Love Myself”, “Wifey” & “Holiday” as it’s singles. Her third EP was released on June 8, 2018. In the October of 2018, Herby confirmed and announced her fourth EP EP 4 which was released on November the same year.

Qveen continued with the EP’s era with EP 5, EP6 and EP 7 released back to back all through 2019.

In October 2019, Herby’s tracks “Mozart” and “Mint” from EP6 were both featured in the first episode of Shane Dawson’s viral series “The Beautiful World of Jeffree Star,” leading to significant growth in her listening base. “Mint” later became Herby’s first non-single track to hit a million streams on Spotify.

By 2020 Qveen had released EP8 with it’s second promotional single “Sugar Daddy” being a viral hit on social media platforms in many Asian countries giving her her biggest solo hit to date. Followed by the ninth and last EP which was the first one to spawn music video for all five of it’s singles. Qveen then followed with a series of single droplets as she started working on her official debut studio album. To celebrate the ending of the EP phase Qveen announced her first physical release. The compilation vinyl Essentials consisting of fourteen of her biggest hits included on her EP’s excluding the last one EP 9. The album was sold out in three hours on it’s first day of release on October, 2020 and on it’s second limited run in early 2021.

On April 27, 2021 she finally announced her first solo full project the album A WOMAN preceded by the single “JUICE”. The twelve track project was released on May 21, 2021 along with the second promotional single “NAUGHTY GIRL”.
