Riv Locc

About Riv Locc

Riv Locc (born Marco Tyler on March 6th, 1982) is a rapper from Kansas City, Missouri. He is sometimes credited as Rivlocc or Riv Loc. He was first featured on Macc James' “Premeditated” (1999) at the age of 16.

He became a member of the Chop It Up Clicc, along with Macc James, P Da Thief, Down Low, Brando C, Hoax Locc, 9 Milla and Makk 90, releasing the album “Undatacuz” in 2000. He only appeared on 2 tracks off Chop It Up Clicc’s next album “Chop Suey” released in 2004; his verses were recorded over the phone as he was incarcerated from 2001 to 2005.

Upon his release in July 2005, Riv Locc rejoined Macc James and the Chop It Up Clicc project “4Much”, released in 2005. The four members of 4Much were Riv Locc, P Da Thizz Kidd (P Da Thief), Down Low and Makk 90.

He made several guest appearances, including tracks from Macc James' “Royalty” (2006), Fatboy Chubb’s “The Bad Guy” (2007), P The Thief’s “Da Art Of Communication” (2007), BG Bulletwound’s “G-14 Classified” (2008), Roo’s “Platinum Product” (2009) and Tech N9ne’s “Collabos – The Gates Mixed Plate” (2010).

He has released several solo albums, starting with “Exigent Circumstances” in 2010, followed by “Clozed Curtainz Mixtape Vol. 1” in 2011, “Appetite For Destruction” in 2012, “I Keep It Lit” in 2013, “Killer Instinct” in 2014, “Premium Gas” in 2015 and “4 Eva wit da Shit” in 2019.
