Starting at his childhood, Ruben Pol from the Netherlands learned playing instruments such as the keyboard, guitar and drums. Later on, at the age of 18, he got scouted to be a fashion model which has lead to getting hired by well known brands in the industry like Calvin Klein, Dior, Fendi or Gucci.

While modelling and studying Business Management in Amsterdam, Ruben Pol has decided to break into music by releasing his first single at the age of 21. “Bed Sheets” got added into playlists across all platforms such as Spotify’s “New Music Friday” and Apple Music’s “A-List Pop.” Additionally, his big Instagram following, originating from his modelling, was used to occasional short, acoustic covers in between his photos which has given him a head start into the industry.

Inspired by some of his favorite artists like John Mayer, Troye Sivan and James Blake, it’s Ruben Pol’s goal to make his work recognizable. This is not only referring to the sound but especially the connection to the visuals to make his “artist career go hand in hand with [his] career as a fashion model.”

At the beginning of September 2019, Ruben Pol has released his first EP Infused Romance, featuring 7 new pieces and a couple of artistic videos.
