Sam Ryder

Sam Ryder (born 25th June, 1989) is a British singer-songwriter. He rose to prominence posting covers on TikTok during the COVID-19 pandemic, and became the most-followed UK artist on the platform by the end of 2020. In 2021 he released his debut EP, ‘The Sun’s Gonna Rise’.
As a result of his rising social media popularity, Sam was chosen to represent the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with the song ‘Space Man’, where he finished in second place, scoring 466 points and landing the UK their highest finish since 1998.
Following his success at Eurovision, Sam is due to release his first full length album ‘There’s Nothing But Space, Man!’ in November 2022, and embark on a 14-date tour around the UK and Ireland in 2023.
