Sing Street is a fictional Irish band that appears in John Carney’s 2016 coming-of-age film Sing Street, set in 1980’s Dublin.
Seven original songs, plus an alternate mix for the track “Up”, were written for the film. Each track is directly influenced by a different band from the 1970’s or 1980’s, with inspirations stylistically ranging from the mod rock sounds of The Jam to the new wave synths of Duran Duran.
