Squalloscope

Squalloscope is an alias of Anna Kohlweis, who exists as a multimedia artist, illustrator, music producer, singer and songwriter. Between 2006 and 2011 she was also known as Paper Bird. Anna Kohlweis works as a solitary force on songwriting, production, recording, artwork, and music videos and is a producer of rhymes, multi-layered choirs, field recordings, loops, vaguely sloppy beats, the intensely personal and quite possibly the slightly wacky.
Under Squalloscope, Kohlweis has released the full-length album “Soft Invasions” and two EPs, “Desert” and “Dispenser Box” on Seayou Records. “Exoskeletons For Children”, her second full-length album as Squalloscope and fifth full-length album of her career, was released in November 2017 on Seayou Recs. and Fake Four Inc.
