About Stu Brooks

Stu Brooks is a two-time Grammy nominated, Canadian born/Los Angeles-based bass player, producer, songwriter and founding member of the genre-bending band Dub Trio.

Stu is bassist and co-producer for the multi-award-winning film score composer and founder of Oingo Boingo, Danny Elfman. His work on the project includes producing collaborations with Trent Reznor and Iggy Pop and executive producing over 20 remixes. He has produced songs for Perry Farrell and plays bass for his Kind Heaven Orchestra. He is also bassist, musical director and frequent collaborator for GRiZ and spent a decade with Matisyahu as bassist, co-writer, musical director and producer.

Stu has signed with Dine Alone Records to release his first album of solo material featuring collaborations with Angelo Moore, Patrick Stump, Jason Aalon Butler, Paul Leary and more.
