About Sway Burr

Sway Burr (real name Josue Petit-Homme) is a 24 year old Connecticut based rapper influenced by Pi'erre Bourne, Lil Wayne, and Kanye West.

Sway started out making songs using Jamglue in the late 2000’s, until it being shut down. That wouldn’t stop him from making music, though.
In his freshman years, (which was in the same period that Jamglue got closed down) he filled up his notebooks with raps. In the late ‘10s, Sway started to gain a following on SoundCloud. It wasn’t until January of 2018 that he would release his debut project, Sway’s Universe, Vol. 1: Heartless Mess. He followed this up with the sequel, Darkside a year later.

Burr came back strong in 2020, releasing 2 albums in the Soss series, (his most successful to date, stands for The Story of Stress and Sorrow) Soss and Soss 2, both featuring Chavo. We’re still waiting for Soss 3, but it’ll come soon, according to his Spotify bio, and his closed website.
