About Tactix

Tactix grew up in a tough neighborhood, surrounded by bad influence and abuse. He found music, and used it as an escape from reality by writing songs which impacted mostly on his life experiences. He has recorded and worked on more than 500 songs, including 2 Albums, and 3 music videos. He’s a passionate multi-lingual rapper and mostly uses English in his music.

Apart from his attention on Music he also possesses a B.A Degree which he obtained from The University of the Free-State in the year 2013.

In a period 2 years he managed to push his co-founded music group ‘Bodaline Movement’ which left QwaQwa singing ‘Aga Sies Maarn Pho’- their most respected Song which became the head line for QwaQwa Radio in 2012. Due to the group’s extravagant performances, they managed to perform alongside artists such as Zahara, Sean Pages and HHP and ended up obtaining a sponsor for AMA KIP KIP clothing from the H.O.P Store located in QwaQwa.

In 2014 he performed for Miss Dihlabeng 2014 and Know Your Rights Campaign alongside artists such as; Kommando Obbs, Mathematics and radio personalities; DJ Finzo and Sebidi Molefe. Tactix was also nominated for the Golden Bean Music Awards under Best Hip Hop Artist 2014.

His Mixtape “Told My Momma I Made It” received positive feedback from his followers and listeners and managed to sell over a 100 copies in Bethlehem alone in just one week. He has currently released a new Album titled ‘The Misfortunate Truth’ which incoporates his Hit Music Video ‘Saka Bao Bone’
