American post-punk/indie rock band from Washington, D.C. formed in 1995.
The band was formed out of the ashes of The Nation Of Ulysses which was the former band of Ian Svenonius, James Canty and Steve Gamboa. They were later joined by bassist Michelle Mae and that is how The Make-Up was born.
