About The Outlaws (Southern Rock Band)

The Outlaws formed in Florida in the late 1960’s, by Hughie Thomasson, who later became a guitarist for Lynyrd Skynyrd. The Outlaws were a part of the southern rock movement that became popular in the late 1960’s and throughout the majority of the 70’s, playing and touring alongside acts such as, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers Band, The Charlie Daniels Band, and Molly Hatchet. The band is best known for their songs “Green Grass and High Tides”, and “There Goes Another Love Song”, both off of their self titled album.
