William “Tony Bosco” Turnage born November 11, 1978 at Johns Hopkins Hospital, grew up on the streets of Baltimore City better known as “The Home of The Wire.” Leaving the memories of an uncorrupt childhood, Turnage became exposed to drug trade at an early age and remained content in it for some time. However, at age 12 he found a new love, music; which began the creation of who we know today as, Tony Bosco. He found himself free styling for fun and continued to build on his lyricism over the years.
In 2000, Bosco received a call from a friend in Virginia stating the creation of STREETS ENTERTAINMENT and provided Bosco with his invitation. As he willingly accepted, Bosco received opportunities to perform at Lincoln Park, many clubs and even a Hip Hop Symposium at the Hilton Hotel in Virginia. However, as time went on the label did become unsuccessful but, that did not stop him. The buzz that Bosco has gotten from his music has been profound and his lyrics have become classics with countless features on fellow Baltimore artists albums.
With his determination and love for the studio, in January 2014 along with Heavy Gold; Tony Bosco founded CHECKERFLAG BOYZ ENTERTAINMENT. Alongside his team, hard work, dedication and hunger he released 100% Streets Vol. 3 hosted by DJ Thoro. In the next 2-3 years Bosco wants to graduate in executive producing, song writing and any other achievements he can add to his continuous list. Literally from the bottom to the top, Virginia, Baltimore and New York Tony Bosco’s name rings bells. He has done over 55 shows, released 7 underground mixtape such as 100% STREETS VOL. 1, 2 &now VOL. 3 as of 2014. Plus, BEST OF BOSCO &EJ, THE AMERICAN DREAM, WEAR YOUR RUBBERS MIXTAPE & FAR FROM FAKE. As well as having features on the mix tapes of DJ Capone, DJ Radio, DJ Thoro and dropping a killer verse on DJ Kay Slay streets banger “Rolling 25 Deep.”
