About Tracy Morgan

Tracy Morgan is an Emmy-nominated actor and comedian best known for his role as the similarly-named Tracy Jordan in Tina Fey’s satirical NBC comedy, 30 Rock.

Morgan started his career where many comedians do, performing as a cast member on Saturday Night Live for seven seasons.

Like his 30 Rock character, Morgan is known for his unfiltered comments and guileless persona, which often manifests itself in controversy.

After barely surviving a six-vehicle crash in 2014, Morgan went on hiatus, before triumphantly returning with The Last O.G., a Jordan Peele-produced sitcom in which he plays an ex-convict returning home, also mirroring his own comeback.

Morgan is also the co-songwriter and performer, along with former 30 Rock writer Donald Glover, of “Werewolf Bar Mitzvah”, which to those unenlightened, is arguably the greatest Halloween novelty song of all time.
