Born in the Bronx, Tray is no stranger to the struggle. In 2000 he began to rap but did not take it serious, despite the all positive feedback. In 2007, Tray went to the US Army and served two tours in Iraq as an Infantryman, and was stationed in Fort Hood, Texas.

After serving in the US Army, which less than nine percent of Americans do, he came to the realization that he wanted to take a different path in life and be his own boss. In 2010 Tray realized his potential and talent and began to take his rap career serious.

Rap is not just a hobby for him he is ready to take on the task of making people love him. Tray stands alone in his own category and if you ask him how he would categorize himself he responds “I’m just me.”
