About Unloved

Unloved is a musical project originally created in 2015 by composer/producers Keefus Ciancia and David Holmes with singer/songwriter Jade Vincent. They released their debut album Guilty of Love in 2015 and their second album Heartbreak in 2019.

The band has also provided the soundtrack to the BBC spy drama Killing Eve for which they were nominated for a BAFTA. The show’s music supervisor Catherine Grieves chose the band due to their fitting lyrics and cinematic style. As Ciancia and Holmes have both scored films previously, Ciancia knew the band’s sound would fit:

We all kind of gravitate towards having chapters in our music which often makes it free for us.. Every song can be a completely different sort of mini-film in a sense, which means the music and Jade’s story character can be totally different.
