VNV Nation

For 23 years, VNV Nation was the Irish/English duo of Ronan Harris and Mark Jackson. Now based in Hamburg, Germany VNV Nation specializes in EBM, synthpop and trance music featuring a unique blend of classical, rock, dance and indie sounds.

Ronan Harris first began recording as VNV Nation in London in 1990. He was joined by drummer Mark Jackson in 1994 and the two were the principal members of VNV Nation until late 2017 when Jackson left the group. VNV Nation perform live with guest keyboardists joining them for each show.

The initials VNV stand for “Victory not Vengeance”.
