How do you feel about rappers using freestyles they used in the past and incorporating them into their albums?

Does it mean they’re afraid of running out of material?

Maybe if we didn’t expect two mixtapes, an album, 25 guest appearances, and 40 freestyles out of a rapper each year they wouldn’t have to recycle material.

Isnt the “freestyle” for the radio supposed to be kinda preview for the album

Maybe they wrote it before the album and the freestyle came out…

Freestyles are overrated, i got no problem with putting them on album

Usually its the other way around. Someone writes something for their album and uses it as a “freestyle.” If they can come up with something off the top of their head which is good enough to make the album, more power to them. Emphasis on good enough. No struggle bars please/

It’s been done by lots of artists. As long as their new project isn’t filled with those radio freestyles, it’s okay.
