Me and some people keep debating about this and just wanted some extra insight. I personally like crooked the most but Joel comes a close second in my opinion. |

Joel is easily last. Royce is the most consistent and the best flow. |

I honestly think royce is last and and crooked has the best flow..but its just cause i like that killer, wu tang type flow. Yeah I’ve heard many people not really into joel as much but i just feel tha dude’s music. But you right Joe seems to have the best solo career but i just dont like him as much plus he said he was better than method man lol…highly disagree. |

To me, the list is:
As stated, Royce has the best flow and is the most consistent but also he has very good punchlines and can put emotion in at times. He’s not the best overall sound in the group but I prefer to listen to him the most. |

Outside of Slaughterhouse, it would go like Joe, Royce, Crook, Joel, because of the success of the “Mood Muzik” series and because of “Death is Certain”. In Slaughterhouse, through their songs, albums, EPs, mixtapes, whatever, I believe it goes Crooked I, Royce da 5'9, Joe Budden, Joel Ortiz. Crooked kills practically every verse in Slaughterhouse. |

On Slaughterhouse tracks, it’s Crooked I. As a solo artist, it’s Joe Budden. Overall, my favorite is Royce. Sorry, Joell. YAOWA! |

Royce. Not even close. Royce is an all-time great and one of the best emcees currently at or near their prime. The other guys just aren’t on that level. Good, but they’re all a bunch of Scottie Pippens to Royce’s Jordan. |

There is no best member. They’ve sorta said it themselves ins some of their songs. Each member brings in a different specialty or style…and when those styles combine you get an unstoppable force. and that’s what makes Slaughterhouse so dope. …But I guess Royce is my favourite cause he’s the reason i started listening to slaughterhouse |

The great thing about Slaughterhouse is that all the emcees in it are flat out amazing rappers, heck, that’s why they put it upon themselves to revive lyricism in hip hop. It’s very hard to distinguish the “best” one per se, their individual talents balance out the dynamic group. Why? All of them can switch flows, implement multisyllabic rhyming, use extended analogies, and have their fair share of humor and punch lines |

Joe is my favorite, honestly. But it’s between either Royce or Crooked, but I tend to enjoy Joe’s verses more. |

I think that Crooked I is really impressive with his multis and flow, but overall I think it goes Royce, Crooked, Joe, and Joell. For me it’s more of a 1A., 1B., 1C., and a 2. kind of list. I hold Crooked, Royce, and Joe on pretty much the same level. |

All 4 of them are extremely talented, I just think Royce is the best overall package. He is consistent and hardly ever has a weak verse. Crooked is very lyrical but he always does the same multi-syllable rhyme scheme and some of his verses are predictable Joell is good at expressing emotion but is not quite on the lyrical level as the rest of them (but sometimes shows moments of genius like his first 4 bars in Asylum) Joe is nice but can be inconsistent and his flow is often average. So overall Royce is the most complete and consistent MC in the group however all 4 of them have moments when they are a cut above the rest (Joell in asylum, Joey in the shady cypher, Crooked in skeletons) |

the problem with ppl saying royce is the best is he’s had more opportunities than anyone else in the group and has never came through….he’s like a top 5 draft pick that never panned out to the superstar ppl were expecting…not a bust either but just a role player in the game his solo albums are all average and on most of the slaughterhouse stuff he’s either the weakest or second weakest more times than not |

I think Budden is the best complete rapper, his problem is he gets weak production. Royce isn’t as good as he used to be in the late 1990s, early 2000’s. I was never really a Crooked fan. I think Joell has shown that he’s capable of putting together a great project (The Brick/Bodega Chronicles) but recently he’s been slacking. |
