Eyob Goitom (b. November 1, 2001), known professionally by his stage name evntura, is an Ethiopian interdisciplinary artist operating as an author, creative director, designer, recording artist/producer, songwriter and screenwriter.
Active from an early age, evntura released a series of singles, collaborations and instrumental projects from 2016–2017. In 2018, he co-founded his creative agency Aventurine Co. along with NYFA alumni Keven Mema. Within the same year, he landed a record deal with London-based imprint Rehegoo Music Group.
In 2020, Goitom hinted at his eponymous solo debut, a children’s book series and a collaborative mixtape with Swazi musician ‘KHILE. He broke his hiatus in 2021 with an array of music releases and his latest business initiative, Garden of Afrika, a subsidiary of Aventurine Co.
2022 is reckoned to be a highlight year for the Ethiopian artist.
